Our tech team in Singapore is growing

Adnavem expands tech-team in Singapore and the commercial team in the Nordics

Adnavem is on a mission to transform the transport and logistics industry by providing a new disruptive digitalised way of buying logistics services. The tech-team in Singapore is expanding as Adnavem hires Soon Fu Meng and Peter Naysan as software engineers.

Demands on new features on the SaaS-enabled marketplace, developed with the transport buyer's needs and requirements in focus, is continually increasing. Supporting transport buyers as well as the logistics providers connected to the platform suppliers, Adnavem established a tech-centre in Asia during 2020, a team that is now growing.

"We are happy to welcome Fu Meng and Peter Naysan to the Adnavem Asia tech-team. With their added competencies, we will take the Adnavem marketplace to the next level offering more ways to collaborate around intermodal container freight.

The modern transport buyers demand more automation, accurate pricing and higher service precision," says Mattias Sundström, co-founder, CTO & Director Adnavem Asia Pte Ltd.

Fu Meng is Singaporean and has a background in IT science and project management. He has a brief history in military logistics and studies in Stockholm, Sweden for his bachelor's degree. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.

"It is impressive how Adnavem is transforming the shipping industry with its highly versatile yet sophisticated marketplace. I am looking forward to applying the skills that I have developed to fuel the change I want to see in the world", says Fu Meng.

Pater Nay San is from Myanmar, and he has an extensive background in IT science and project management. He got his bachelor's degree from Oxford Brookes University, UK. He came from the freight forwarding business, and he is fluent in English and Myanmar.

"Transparency is the key to trust, and digitalisation is the sustainable & scalable to business which Adnavem offers both. This platform is very convenient for both customers, suppliers, and carriers in this digital era. I'm so glad to be part of this exciting journey", says Peter Nay San.

Growth in the Nordics

Adnavem has commercial business presence in China and Sweden, and the plan is to keep scaling across the globe. Recently the sales team in Sweden was strengthened with Nina Karlsson and Philip Anderberg representing Adnavem in Midland and South Sweden and greater Stockholm area. Adnavem already has a presence in Gothenburg, where the tech companies headquarter is located.

"Container freight is a global business and to give our transport buyers and logistics suppliers the best possible support, we need to have a strong presence in Asia as well as in the Nordics.

"We are proud to have many users in the marketplace that demands access to more effective and greener logistics solutions", says Mattias Sundström.

The Adnavem tech team in Asia now has four members; Fu Meng, Peter Nay San, Karen Er and Mattias Sundström
